Abstract

Tasawuf sering dikenal dengan mistisisme, karena mempelajarinya tidak menggunaan akal maupun panca indera, namun dengan pengalaman spiritual. Hal ini dilakukan seorang Sufi Wanita yaitu: Rabi’ah Al-Adawiyah dalam memberikan bentuk cintanya kepada Allah dengan memanfaatkan daya ruhiyah dan dikenal dengan julukan “ibunya para Sufi” (The Mother of The Grand Master). Metode yang digunakan selama penelitian yaitu metode Library Research(studi pustka), yang mana Penulis menghimpun data-data kepustakaan seperti jurnal ilmiah maupun beberapa literatur yang sistematis. Adapun mengetahui konsep tasawuf Rabi’ah agar mengetahui cara mendekatkan diri kepada Allah secara layak dan tidak terlenanya dengan kesenangan duniawi yang fana. Hasil penelitian ini menyebutkan bahwa Rabi’ah memiliki cinta yang murni tanpa adanya balasan dari Tuhannya (al-hubb) dan juga meninggalkan hal yang bersifat duniawi (zuhud). Sarraj al-Thusi mengemukakan tahapan-tahapan menuju puncak Mahabbah Rabi’ah diantaranya: taubah, wara’, zuhud, faqr, shabr, tawakkal dan ridha.
