Cesarean section is a surgical procedure that may cause anxiety due to fear of surgery, anesthesia, postoperative pain, and potential complications. Family support is one of the psychosocial factors that can influence patients' anxiety levels before surgery. This study aimed to determine the relationship between family support and anxiety levels among patients undergoing Cesarean section. This study employed a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 68 patients undergoing Cesarean section were selected using a consecutive sampling technique. Data were collected using the Perceived Social Support from Family (PSS-Fa) questionnaire to assess family support and the Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety and Information Scale (APAIS) to measure preoperative anxiety. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The majority of respondents received poor family support (47.1%) and experienced severe anxiety (45.6%). The Chi-square test showed a statistically significant relationship between family support and anxiety levels among patients undergoing Cesarean section (p = 0.0001, p < 0.05). Patients who received better family support tended to experience lower levels of preoperative anxiety. Family support was significantly associated with anxiety levels among patients undergoing Cesarean section. Better family support was associated with lower preoperative anxiety.
